SMS Stories
My family has been a part of Saint Mary's Catholic School since 2017. This small school holds so many blessings inside its walls: faculty who love and grow my children daily, staff who go the extra mile to make this school special, and parents who have become some of my closest friends. I sent my youngest child to school "early" to the pre-k 3 class because of how much we had fallen in love with the school- we wanted her to have all the goodness from SMS she could! The SMS community is incredibly special and the school is full of traditions that have become some of my own family's favorite traditions. I love having the frequent opportunity to volunteer at the school and be involved in my children's education. We are so thankful to be a part of the SMS family.
Elizabeth PalopoliAll three of my boys attend St. Mary’s Catholic School. We have been part of the St. Mary’s family since January 2011, when my eldest entered kindergarten. Not only does St. Mary’s provide excellent academics, it also provides a loving, safe, and comfortable environment that shares our family’s values, morals, and beliefs. My boys have always loved St. Mary’s, but entering middle school has been a major turning point for them. The middle school at SMS has been such an exhilarating experience. They literally look forward to going to school every day! As a parent, there is nothing that makes me happier! I owe this to their teachers that encourage their independence, show them mutual respect, and most importantly challenge their minds. Their teachers as well as their classmates show such kindness, support, and encouragement on a daily basis. St. Mary’s is and will always be a blessing to our family.
Suzanne ParsaSt. Mary’s has exceeded our expectations with its focus on academic excellence, foundation of faith, and loving, nurturing environment. Our daughter said it best, “I don’t care where we live...as long as I can go to SMS!”
Sarah HusserSt. Mary’s School has made such a difference for my family. The relationships that have been formed between teachers and other families have truly created our village in a way that I could never have imagined. Our children have both flourished under the loving instruction of their classroom instructors as well as the other teachers and staff. We continue to see them grow not only intellectually but just as importantly in their kindness, their knowledge of what is right, and their love for Christ. We know the guidance they receive at St. Mary’s in these important early childhood years will stay with them throughout their lifetime.
